OVERVIEW
Le Petit Theatre will be hosting EPA auditions for our 108th season of productions, including Murder for Two; Good Night, Oscar; Jersey Boys; Doubt; and Ain’t Misbehavin’.
Auditions will be held at Le Petit Theatre (616 St. Peter Street, New Orleans LA 70116) on Monday, June 24th and Tuesday, June 25th from 2-5 pm and 6-10 pm. Interested AEA actors should sign up for a reserved audition slot in advance HERE. All other nonunion or union actors may attend the auditions and will be seen in order of arrival in between any reserved audition spots. An accompanist will be available on both days for any actors interested in auditioning for Jersey Boys or Ain’t Misbehavin’. Actors interested in auditioning for Murder for Two will be asked to accompany themselves, per production requirements.
Actors are requested to prepare one 60-90 second monologue and one 32-bar cut of music of your choosing. Actors only interested in auditioning for non-musical productions are asked to only perform a 60-90 second monologue (no music). Actors auditioning for Murder for Two are requested to prepare one of two songs from the production. Details are below.
Video submissions from both in-town and out-of-town actors for the season are very welcome and should be emailed to casting@lepetittheatre.com with the subject line “24-25 Season Audition – YOUR NAME.” Video submission deadline is July 10th, 2024. Specific productions will likely schedule callbacks as needed as determined by each director at a later date.
