Le Petit Theatre is in the midst of our 100th season in our longstanding location. For 107 years we have been producing theatre in the French Quarter. Your donations make all the difference. We couldn't do what we do without you! We didn't quite reach our goal this year, but we did reach $7,500.
This season alone we have hosted over 1200 students through our free student ticket program and have hired over 100 actors and crew (and we still have 1 full show left to go)!
Le Petit Theatre is dedicated to presenting high-quality theatrical performances to entertain, inform, and educate the diverse population of the region and enhance the economic vitality of the greater New Orleans area. By offering a full season of contemporary and classic dramas, comedies, and musicals, the theatre embraces the work of the city's artists onstage and backstage, while nurturing and mentoring up-and-coming talent with an array of educational outreach programs. We strive to present theatrical productions of the highest artistic quality which contribute positively to New Orleans' rich cultural economy.
In its second century, Le petit Theatre is dedicating itself to productions designed to reflect the New Orleans community, appealing to both locals and tourists. A key goal for Le Petit each year is to continually engage new audiences while employing local and regional actors and technical theatre professionals and providing approximately $500,000 back into the local economy annually.
