Joint 2025-26 Season Auditions

May 23, 2025 | News

Le Petit Theatre, The NOLA Project, Goat in the Road Productions, Tennessee Williams Theatre Company of New Orleans, and Intramural Theater are joining forces to host joint general season auditions on June 17 and 18, 2025, at Le Petit Theatre.

In the joint effort to allow New Orleans actors to be seen by multiple theatre organizations simultaneously, interested local performers may sign up for a slot to be seen anytime between 2 pm and 10 pm on either Tuesday, June 17th or Wednesday, June 18th.

Interested actors are encouraged to prepare at least one memorized 60-90 second monologue and, if interested, a prepared song selection of no more than two minutes. A piano accompanist will be present for those wishing to perform with piano accompaniment. Please bring prepared and notated sheet music if you wish to work with the provided accompanist. Actors with instrumental abilities are also strongly encouraged to accompany themselves if able.

Each participating theatre organization has created a document of upcoming available productions and roles. Some are more general, while others are highly specific. Please review all of these below. When signing up for an audition slot, actors will be requested to upload a resume or list of relevant previous work as well as an identifying photo. You may bring hard copies of headshots/resumes to the audition, though none are required so long as you have filled out the electronic signup form.

Both AEA and nonunion actors alike are welcome to sign up for any audition slot.* And all theatre organizations will likely host individual, production-specific callback auditions at later dates.

Equity Principal Auditions will be held at Le Petit Theatre (616 St. Peter Street, New Orleans LA 70116) on Thursday, June 19th, 2025, and Friday, June 20th, 2025, from 9am-5pm. AEA Actors may also attend in person without a scheduled audition, though we encourage advance notice if you are able to sign up.

Video submissions from both in-town and out-of-town actors for the season are very welcome and should be uploaded to the audition form. Video auditions may be emailed to casting@lepetittheatre.com with the subject line “25-26 Season Audition – YOUR NAME.” should the form pose any problems. All productions will schedule invited callbacks as needed, as determined by each director at a later date. In attendance will be Le Petit Artistic Director A.J. Allegra and production assistant Effie Inglefield.
