Sundays from 1 pm – 3 pm at First Grace Methodist Church in Mid City

9/29, 10/6, 10/13, 10/27, 11/3, 11/10

Learn to work together as a theatre ensemble to make stories come to life on stage! In this class for students in grades 3-7, theatre educator Meredith Owens will lead young theatre artists through various exercises, games, and activities that allow them to explore their creativity, imagination, and collaboration with one another.

Tuition Cost:  $300

Learn the fast-thinking, fun, and creative art of improvisation from two of New Orleans’ very best improv artists, Emily Slazer and Nick Napolitano.

Saturday and Sunday, November 2 and 3 from 11am-2pm at Le Petit Theatre

Learn hands-on scenic painting techniques from a master scenic painter Nathan Arthur. In this two-day workshop at Le Petit Theatre, students will have the opportunity to observe and try their own hand at a series of scenic painting techniques. Learn how to scumble, marble, wood-grain, and more! Perfect for any student interested in sets and scenic design.

Saturday and Sunday, November 23 and 24 from 11am-2pm at Le Petit Theatre

Learn all about the tools scenic carpenters work with in a typical shop, from hand tools like hammers, tape measures, and screwdrivers, to more complex motorized tools such as circular saws, table saws, and routers. This class will allow students to both observe and work hands-on with basic carpentry tools as well as learning the important safety precautions required for their use.
