madam and lots of leggy girls make for the
kind of theatrical event that Le Petit Theatre
does best.

"Men in Trees" on ABC. Cantone appeared
on Broadway in Terrence McNally's "Love,
Valor, Compassion," Stepehn Sondheim's

of the little guy looking for a place in the
sun. Based on Ossie Davis' "Purlie Victorious",
this is the inspiring show that brought Tony
awards to Melba Moore and Cleavon Little.
Gary Geld and Peter Udell's foot-tapping score

run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan.
In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie

President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and finds
a new family and home in billionaire Oliver
Warbucks, his personal secretary Grace Farrell
and a lovable mutt named Sandy.
Featuring Madison Kerth as Annie, Christopher
Bentivegna as Oliver Warbucks,

The wildly popular John Kander-Fred Ebb musical
that took Broadway by storm and went on to
become one of the most popular musical films
in history. All the world's a freewheeling
cabaret in pre-war Germany when an American
writer meets a divinely decadent girl who
is performing nightly in a sleazy nightclub.
With the time rushing by, with the storm in
the wind, what would you do?
The premiere local production
of Mel Brooks' Broadway musical smash. Music
Theatre International has given Le Petit Theater
exclusive rights to one of the most honored
musical comedies in Broadway history. At last,
Max Bialystock and Leo Bloom have an appointment
on St. Peter Street.

How to Draw the Sun
or Kiss Me Paul Vallas
Produced by: The
NOLA Project
April 4 - 20, 2008
Fridays & Saturdays at 7pm,
Sundays at 1pm
Tickets $20. $12 for
students, artists, & public school
parents and staff

Why do we love to learn but
hate school? The NOLA Project presents a new
comedy based on the tragedy that is modern
schooling.
When a kindergarten test asked kids to copy
a picture of the sun as exactly as possible,
Sean instead drew a sun with sunglasses smelling
some flowers. Deemed “unable to follow
instructions,” he had to repeat the
grade. The actors’ stories, and those
of local teachers, students, parents, administrators,
and other concerned parties, fuel this comedy
about the tragedy of public education.
