How to Draw the Sun
or Kiss Me Paul Vallas

Produced by: The NOLA Project

April 4 - 20, 2008
Fridays & Saturdays at 7pm,
Sundays at 1pm

Tickets $20. $12 for students, artists, & public school parents and staff

Why do we love to learn but hate school? The NOLA Project presents a new comedy based on the tragedy that is modern schooling.

When a kindergarten test asked kids to copy a picture of the sun as exactly as possible, Sean instead drew a sun with sunglasses smelling some flowers. Deemed “unable to follow instructions,” he had to repeat the grade. The actors’ stories, and those of local teachers, students, parents, administrators, and other concerned parties, fuel this comedy about the tragedy of public education.
