Led by Broadway veteran Leslie Castay, don’t miss this musical theatre workshop that will cover a variety of audition techniques, including self-branding, music selection, resume building, and headshot review. Each actor will have the opportunity to perform and receive feedback on an audition performance in this afternoon masterclass. Enrollment includes a ticket to A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum for that evening, May 21, at 7:30 PM.

Instructor - Leslie Castay
Leslie Castay is a seasoned Broadway veteran, having appeared in the Broadway productions of 42nd Street, 3Penny Opera, Guys and Dolls, Beauty and the Beast, and in National Tours of Annie and Cats. She was a soloist at Carnegie Hall with the New York Pops and has starred in numerous Off-Broadway and regional productions. Since returning home she has performed extensively with local theatre companies such as Southern Rep, Le Petit, Tulane Summer Lyric, and the NOLA Project, winning Big Easy Awards for her performances in Grey Gardens and Next to Normal. She recently starred in Le Petit’s production of Merrily We Roll Along. Her acclaimed Cabaret show played to sold out crowds at Le Chat Noir and Mid City theatre. Her film and TV credits including the Oscar nominated The Big Short, recurring and guest starring roles in Common Law, American Horror Story and NCIS: NewOrleans and in the upcoming film Sully, directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Tom Hanks.
