In 1954, native Louisianian Arna Bontemps produced and edited Anthologies of Negro Poets, an album recording composed of six of the 20th century's most esteemed Black poets. Inspired by this album, Le Petit will produce a unique, live-streamed staged reading experience that “pulses with the spirit of a people demanding their right to be heard.”
